LUSH- up close and personal

One of my absolute favorite stores is Lush Cosmetics... it's where I buy my soap, my shampoo and conditioner, my bath bombs and bubbles, my body lotion, massage bars, and face masks...well, I basically buy all my cosmetics ( or toiletries ) there.

In case you haven't heard of this magical place yet, I'm here to inform you... you have been missing out. They use natural, organic and fair trade ingredients, whenever possible. They have 'naked' products, which don't need packaging and therefore reduces the amount of garbage in the landfills. The products that do have packaging, have the bare minimum in order to reduce carbon footprints. They buy ingredients from communities and tribes abroad, where the money goes right back to the people in the community. Lush donates money and time, as well as supports environment and animal rights causes. All their products are vegetarian and a good chunk are vegan... and the vegan ones are even labeled!

Please check out their website to learn more... and go shopping! http://www.lush.ca/shop/

If you live where I live, you can find lush in West Edmonton Mall or on Whyte Ave.
"Like" Whyte Aves facebook page to be in the know of up and coming events and parties, as well as community events. Like the party they are having this Saturday to celebrate "green" products! http://www.facebook.com/LUSHWhyteAve

Now, for the best part... a look of some fabulous Lush products, up close... real close
